This tour is designed especially for those people who do not have much time and want to know one of the 7 wonders of the world, “The ancestral citadel of Machu Picchu” in a single day, leaving and returning to the city of Cusco on the same day.
We pick you up from the hotel (2 and a half hours before the departure of your train), and we go to the train station located in Ollantaytambo, where by recommendation you should be 30 minutes before your departure. You will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes - a trip of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will wait for you to drive you to the bus station, to ascend 400 meters on a road between the mountains until you reach the Inca City of Machupicchu. You will pass the entrance controls of the citadel, and then begin a great tour of one of the 7 Wonders of the World. You will visit the main sites of the archaeological complex: The Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock (Intihuatana), the Royal Enclosures, the Temple of the Three Windows, among others; The guided tour will be for two hours, you will also have considerable free time to visit the places you want on your own, and to take souvenir photos. In the afternoon you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo (show up at the station 30 minutes before the departure time of your train), upon arriving at the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting to take you to the city of Cusco.
