Cusco and Machu Picchu 7 days

FIRST DAY: CUSCO IN (CITY TOUR).

Reception and transfer to selected hotel. The rest of the morning will be reserved for rest and acclimatization to the city of Cusco. At the appropriate time (1:50 p.m.) we look at the hotel to take the City Tour, in which we will visit the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Convent of Santo Domingo. Then we will visit the archaeological remains found in the surroundings of the city of Cusco, which are: Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Return to Cusco 6:30 pm. Accommodation in Cusco.

SECOND DAY: SACRED VALE OF THE INCAS (NIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES).

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel (08:00 hours) to go to the town of Pisaq (located 50 minutes from Cusco) where we will appreciate the archaeological complex located 20 minutes from the town, we will also visit the Typical Artisanal Market and the Plaza . We continue the journey along the bank of the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba, where we will have a delicious buffet lunch. Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns. Its streets maintain the same layout from the time of the Incas, stroll through the wonderful complex located there. Then we will take our train to Aguas Calientes and then go up to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

THIRD DAY: MACHUPICCHU.

After breakfast. We look at the hotel to take the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu. You will then have a guided tour of this impressive place for 2 hours, visiting the Temple of the Three Windows, the Sundial, the Ceremonial Plaza, among others. Then you will have free time to explore, alone, the sectors of greatest interest and take souvenir photographs. After your walk we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and then return to Ollantaytambo, finally transferred to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.

FOURTH DAY: HUMANTAY LAGOON

We will stop by your respective hotel to pick you up, and then travel in our transportation to the town of Mollepata, located 2 hours from Cusco in the lush valley of the Apurímac River. After a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy, we will continue our trip for another 1 hour towards Soraypampa (3900masl), after a brief rest, we will begin our way to the Humantay lagoon located at 4200mt 13779 feet, after climbing 1 hour and 30 min Approximately we can appreciate the wonderful place where we will have one of the most beautiful lagoons in Peru. Then we will return to our camp to enjoy our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks. Later you will be transferred to our city of Cusco, we will drop you off in the center of the city (near the main Plaza de Armas). Around 6:00 p.m.

FIFTH DAY: MARAS AND MORAY SALT MILLS.

Breakfast (07:50 hours), we look at the hotel to take you to the salt mines in MARAS, a town of the salt mines where we will appreciate the salt exploration complex, which were already exploited since the Inca Empire and used as a means of economic exchange and of values. Continuing, about 7 km southwest of Maras is Moray; a unique archaeological group of its kind. These are giant natural depressions or holes, which were used to build agricultural platforms around their contours. Return to Cusco 2:30 pm, you had the afternoon free to shop. Accommodation in Cusco.

SIXTH DAY: “VININCUNCA” RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

The trip will last 2 hours to the community where we will have our breakfast, then we will continue for 1 more hour to (Quesiyono) approximately 4,400 meters above sea level where we will begin our journey along an easily accessible path for an approximate time of 1H30 and we will arrive at the magical Mountain of Colors, with magical landscapes, located at approximately 5,036 meters above sea level. After enjoying the wonder that our mother nature presents to us, we will return along the same route, where our transportation awaits us, which will take us to the place where we will have lunch in 45 minutes. Later we will return to Cusco, arriving around 4:30 p.m.

SEVENTH DAY: CUSCO CHECK OUT.

On this day you will be used to shop for souvenirs and at the appropriate time, transferred to the bus terminal or the airport for your return to your city of origin, an hour and a half before the departure of your flight.
