Inca Jungle 4 days

FIRST DAY: CUSCO -ABRA MÁLAGA-SANTA MARÍA | INCA JUNGLE TRAIL

Pick up from the hotel in the morning to go to the Malaga pass (4350 meters above sea level); On the way we will see attractive places such as Chinchero and the sacred valley of the Incas and Ollantaytambo, a 4-hour bus ride. Already in the Malaga pass we will begin with the down hill bicycle tour and the guide will show us the instructions and the necessary equipment (5 hours) going down to the edge of the jungle passing through small towns, fruit fields, rivers and we arrive at the archaeological complex of HUAMANMARCA guided tour and in this place we will have lunch, arrival in Santa Maria in the afternoon free options in this place Overnight canoeing.

SECOND DAY: SANTA MARÍA-SANTA TERESA THERMAL BATHS | PERU INCA JUNGLE

Breakfast very early and then continue with the walk that runs through part of the Traditional Inca Trail. This section is not to be missed. During the walk we can see different fruit plantations (avocado, orange, mango), medicinal plants in the area and coffee. We can also see different animals such as birds and insects. On this journey we also find original Inca paths, and we enter deeper into the jungle. Lunch at Kellomayo. Optional. Visit the Thermal Baths and then arrive at Santa Teresa overnight.

THIRD DAY: SANTA TERESA-HYDROELECTRIC-AGUAS CALIENTES.

Early breakfast We continue with our journey on this route until we reach the town of Hidrolectrica, where we can see the hydroelectric power plant of Cusco and in this place we will have lunch but we have an option where we do not walk but we have a Zip Line option, after lunch We continue with the walk along the railway to the town of Aguas Calientes where we have a hostel with all the services (private bathroom, cable TV, wifi, hot shower) at night we will have a dinner where the guide will tell us everything for the visit to Machupicchu overnight.

FOURTH DAY: HOT WATERS – MACHU PICCHU-CUSCO.

Very early breakfast 4:00 am and then take a 2 hour walk to reach Machupicchu arrival time 6:00 am to see the sunrise we will have a cool climate and then the guided tour of this place 2 hours to the archaeological complex of Machupicchu, tour of the main agricultural, industrial and religious sectors (Intiwatana, three windows) and then enough free time to visit the places of greatest interest. In the afternoon we return by train to Aguas Calientes, the most recommended place for lunch. Then we will board our train to Ollantaytambo where we will have the mobility to return to Cusco.
