O cânion do condor é o santuário natural do condor andino, considerado uma ave sagrada dos Incas. Este lugar oferece aos visitantes o voo majestoso do condor andino em seu habitat natural e o impressionante cânion Apurimac com mais de 1500 metros de profundidade, aqui é a casa dos condores: onde abrem diariamente as asas e onde nidificam, um lugar majestoso para contemplar e vincular vínculos com a natureza e seu espetáculo.
O passeio inclui retirada no hotel entre 8h00 e 8h30. Viajaremos em direção a Limatambo, fazendo paradas em sítios arqueológicos como KILLARUMIYOC e TARAWASI. Almoçaremos em Limatambo e depois iremos para Chonta por uma rota não pavimentada, subindo até 3.400 metros acima do nível do mar. Chegaremos a Chonta por volta das 13h e caminharemos 1 hora e meia até o mirante do Cânion Condor a 3.350 metros acima do nível do mar. Observaremos os condores andinos em seu habitat natural durante aproximadamente 2 horas. Depois retornaremos a Chonta e Cusco em mobilidade, chegando por volta das 20h.
We will pick you up at your hotel in our vehicle between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Then we will travel along a very well paved route to Limatambo, along this trip we will make some stops in some archaeological zones such as KILLARUMIYOC and TARAWASI where our guide will explain to us step by step about the history of each place, learning a little more about the culture. Inca; Continuing our trip we will arrive at the town of Limatambo where we will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by native hands. Later we continue traveling, this time along an unpaved route to the community of Chonta, this trip will ascend to 3400 meters above sea level, during which time we will make stops at some key points to take photos with the Salkantay snow-capped mountain and the valley of Limatambo.
We will arrive at the town of Chonta at approximately 1:00 p.m. from where we will begin our walk of around 1 hour and a half along a wide path to the viewpoint of the Cañon del Condor 3,350 meters above sea level. From this point we will have the opportunity to witness the impressive Andean condor in its natural habitat, we will stand at the viewpoint and wait for the condors to arrive after their daily activities, this wait will not be for long since the condors normally return in the afternoon between approximately 3:00 pm to their nests. Here you will have a very good opportunity to see the condors from very close for an average of 2 hours or more flying in front of you and you will be more than amazed. Later we will return walking to the town of Chonta and then in our mobility to the city of Cusco. Arrival time approximately 8:00 p.m. End of the tour.
